Choosing what seed or seeds you want to grow is always a taxing time for giant pumpkin growers. This season I am wanting a large orange giant pumpkin. In this post I am sharing with you what I have decided to grow.
I found some of these Jiffy 7 peat pellet in the shed and decided to give them a try with giant pumpkin seeds. With growing medium and peat pot all in one pellet, they might be just the thing to start seeds of right.

Here is a video of the largest pumpkin grown so far in the world. Grown by Beni Meier from Switzerland. It can’t be recorded as a world record due to their being a stem end split into the pumpkin. It is a massive step forward in giant pumpkin growing, check out the video of it below.
