Recently I buried vines into bags of compost, and setup my WiFi watering system so I can water the Tiny Patch by just using my phone.
It’s almost Christmas and I went out and looked at what Tim is up to in his patch. He’s on a quest to grow an even bigger giant pumpkin this season.
I’ve had a cold this week, so no vlog, but a blog update on being interviewed by BBC World News, and an update on the patch.
A bit of an update on what I have been up to the last couple of weeks, I’ve been delivering seedlings and put up some early season protection.
Halfway through October and the giant pumpkin season has started here in New Zealand, I’ve started my seeds off, and published some vlogs, plus have been looking into pumpkin rolling.
An update on the plant now that I am back from Christchurch, time for some pea straw and some added fertiliser to the patch.
My irrigation is all set up now, find out what didn’t work. And an update on the seedlings.
In my quest to sort out the watering for the patch I bought another timer and hose and hooked it all up.
I’ve added more compost to the patch, and have also added the tap to the blue drum.
